Ted Pagels is the Founder of FIREPROSe, LLC based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is an entrepreneur, retired Fire Chief Executive Officer and current State Licensed/Certified Private Investigator (WI, MI, IA) performing fire/explosion origin and cause investigations for insurance industry/ legal community clients. He has well over a dozen sworn testimony experiences involving depositions, civil and criminal trials. He has been designated eligible to testify in federal court. Performed are hands-on fire and explosion scene investigation task work, coordination large loss multiple party investigations, evidence processing, witness statements, fact-finding, documentation reports, photography, and marketing of services. Consulting projects included municipal fire services issues such as administration and management, budgeting, safety and training, policy and procedures, equipment specification, public education, union relations.

As a former FIRE CHIEF he has 14 years chief executive officer experiences in progressive career and non-career fire/ rescue/ emergency medical service departments. Chief Pagels is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), and holds a Private Detective and Agency License. Experiences (over 30 years) have been in fire and emergency medical services response, positive labor relations, employee recruitment and selection, officer promotions, marketing department services, budget management and administration, fire/incident investigations, public education, apparatus specification and purchase, officer development and empowerment, loss control, code enforcement, insurance relations, major public event security/safety. Career experiences also included extensive international technical teaching assignments in courses of leadership (fire service / non-fire business), management, fire department organization, instructor development, safety and health. Consultant experiences have been in matters of fire department management and leadership, public fire safety education, code enforcement, planning, training conference planning, loss control, disaster preparedness, policy and procedures, and promotional assessment centers with state, national and international organizations. Just out-of-college experiences were as a High School Technical Education Instructor, High School and Adult Driver Education Instructor.
